Employment type: Full time, 12-month term from September 2026- September 2027 (extension opportunity based on performance)

Come Work with Us! TK Array is actively looking for a Forest Technician with field work experience.

Located out of Edmonton, TK Array is a provider of forestry, environmental and First Nations services. We are currently involved in a wide variety of projects, including caribou habitat restoration, tree planting, wildlife monitoring and First Nations consulting. We are committed to providing the forestry and environmental sectors with services of the utmost quality.

THE POSITION The Forest Technician is mainly responsible for providing field assistance on our various field projects. This includes, but is not limited to:

- Field layout and reconnaissance of project areas. This includes identifying suitable areas for development/operations based on the applicable legislation and project goals.
- Wildlife camera installations.
- Working in challenging terrain, weather and access areas. This position requires
- walking through forested areas with uneven footing.
- Crew supervision and cooperation. The field personnel will assist with getting
- other project participants ready for work where needed.
- Maintain a professional conduct with clients and public members. Be a strong ambassador for TK Array.

This is an hourly position,



with a range of $25-30 hourly. Applicant pay will be based on experience and productivity. The typical field shift is 10 days on and 4 days off, with a minimum of 8 hours spent in the field daily. This position is predominantly field based, with 1-4 office days a month required. Out of town work will be regularly required. If so, all applicable costs will be covered and managed by TK Array including accommodations, vehicle and equipment costs. QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES;

- A minimum of 6 months of forestry/environmental field work experience.
- Valid class 5 driver’s license,
- Physically fit,
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions,
- Able to work both independently and with a team in isolated conditions,
- Attention to detail and excellent data management,
- Post-secondary education with a diploma or degree in a relevant discipline is an asset, but not a requirement.

WHAT WE PROVIDE TK Array provides competitive wages, with the hourly rate being based on the individual's experience and skill set. For the right candidate, there are opportunities for an extended work term beyond September 2027 (or full-time opportunities), with the ability to try different tasks or positions.
