Join our dedicated team as a Front Line Worker within the Family Support for Children with Disabilities (FSCD) program. In this vital role, you will provide compassionate, hands-on support to a young boy and his family, ensuring they receive personalized care that promotes independence, safety, and well-being.
Duties
- Works directly with children and their families
- Provide support in various areas as dictated by the needs of the child
- Is respectful of dignity and individuality of each child/family member
- Provides appropriate supervision and care to children to the level they require and by the nature of their disability
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in a human services field, or certification as a child and youth care worker, or three years experience in a human service field. Experience in working with children with behavioral, medical and emotional difficulties is preferred.
