Job Title: Senior Full Stack Java Developer (AWS)

Location: Downtown Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite)

Employment Type: 6-Month Contract About the Role

NetworkPedia is seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer with strong AWS expertise to support enterprise application modernization initiatives. In this role, you'll work directly with client development teams to modernize Java applications using cloud-native technologies, containerization, and AWS services.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer who can design, develop, containerize, and deploy Java applications—not just architect solutions. You'll work in an Agile environment delivering end-to-end modernization projects. Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise Java applications.

Modernize legacy Java applications using cloud-native development practices.

Containerize applications using Docker and deploy to AWS ECS.

Build scalable cloud solutions leveraging AWS services.

Collaborate with client engineering teams throughout the modernization lifecycle.

Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.

Ensure applications are production-ready with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Troubleshoot deployment and production issues while following DevOps best practices.

Skills & Qualifications

7+ years of Full Stack Java development experience.

Strong Java development experience (Java 11/17+ preferred).

Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, or related Java frameworks.

Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.

Experience deploying containerized applications using Docker.





Experience deploying applications to AWS ECS.

Solid understanding of cloud-native application development.

Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.
