Wind Cries Mary is looking for a motivated and organized Full-Time AM Prep Cook to help set our kitchen up for success each day. Known for our ingredient-driven cuisine, exceptional hospitality, and commitment to quality, we're looking for someone who takes pride in preparation and enjoys working in a professional, fast-paced kitchen.

As an AM Prep Cook, you'll play a vital role in preparing ingredients, organizing the kitchen, and ensuring the team is ready for service. You'll also support the culinary team with line cooking when needed and will be expected to uphold the same high standards of quality, consistency, and professionalism that define Wind Cries Mary.

What You'll Be Doing

- Complete daily prep lists efficiently and accurately.
- Prepare sauces, stocks, vegetables, proteins, and other ingredients according to recipe standards.
- Portion, label, and properly store products for service.
- Assist with seafood preparation, including oyster shucking, as required.
- Receive and organize deliveries while maintaining proper product rotation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workspace.
- Set up stations and assist with lunch or dinner service as needed.
- Work collaboratively with chefs and cooks to ensure the kitchen is prepared for a successful service.

What We're Looking For




- Previous professional kitchen experience is preferred.
- Strong knife skills and a solid understanding of kitchen fundamentals.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Excellent organization and attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- A positive attitude and a genuine passion for cooking.
- Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and remain active throughout the shift.
- FoodSafe certification is considered an asset.
