Elevate Oshawa's cultural presence as a Full time Supervisor focused on Cultural Development. Lead a dedicated team to innovate and implement various arts initiatives. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Special Events and Culture Development, this temporary position lasts up to 18 months.

You will oversee the Cultural Leadership Council, support arts projects, and develop policies that foster cultural participation. Your successful collaboration with stakeholders will drive key initiatives and enhance community engagement. Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and mentor the Cultural Development team
- Advocate for key cultural projects and initiatives
- Oversee Public Art Policy and manage related teams
- Coordinate cultural programming and events
- Develop community-focused communication strategies Requirements:
- Four-year degree in a relevant field plus six years of experience
- In-depth understanding of cultural planning and municipal operations
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
