Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will deliver excellent customer service, handle transactions accurately, and contribute to a positive shopping experience. Bilingual skills and experience in retail sales or merchandising are a plus. This role requires strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

- Greet customers warmly and assist with their purchases using POS systems
- Process cash, credit, and digital payments accurately while handling cash responsibly
- Maintain organized checkout areas and ensure merchandise is properly displayed
- Answer customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to minimize wait times
- Assist in merchandising activities and stock replenishment as needed
- Uphold store policies on cash handling, security,



and customer service standards

Requirements

- Previous experience in cashiering, retail sales, or customer service preferred
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Proficiency with POS systems and basic math skills for accurate cash handling
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to perform product demos and engage customers through upselling techniques
- Good time management skills to handle multiple transactions efficiently
- Qualified phone etiquette and robust interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of merchandising, product presentation, and retail sales strategies is desirable

* Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
