Role Description The General Accountant with Epicor CMS experience is a full-time, on-site role based in Brampton, ON. This role is responsible for day-to-day accounting activities, including preparing and posting journal entries, managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, reconciling bank and general ledger accounts, and assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes.

The General

Accountant will use Epicor CMS to maintain accurate financial records, generate reports, and support internal controls and compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. The role also includes supporting budgeting and forecasting activities,



responding to financial inquiries from internal stakeholders, and collaborating with other departments to ensure timely and accurate financial data. The individual will contribute to continuous improvement of accounting processes and system efficiency.

Qualifications

- Strong general accounting skills, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Hands-on experience with Epicor CMS or similar ERP/accounting systems, including data entry, reporting, and system navigation.
- Knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, invoicing, and payment application.
- Understanding of month-end and year-end closing procedures, budgeting, and basic financial analysis.
- Proficiency with MS Excel and other standard office software for financial data management and reporting.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; qualified accounting coursework or designation in progress is an asset.
- Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment is an advantage.
- Commitment to ethical standards, confidentiality, and continuous learning in accounting best practices.
