Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Guidewire PolicyCenter Developer to design, configure, and implement PolicyCenter solutions for our client's insurance platform. The ideal candidate is Guidewire ACE Certified in PolicyCenter Configuration and Cloud/Integration, with strong hands-on experience across the full PolicyCenter development lifecycle, including configuration, integration, and cloud deployment. This is a hybrid role, requiring a minimum of 2 days per week onsite at the client's office.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and configure Guidewire PolicyCenter modules including product model, rating, underwriting rules, and business rules using Gosu scripting.
- Build and maintain integrations between PolicyCenter and external/internal systems using Guidewire Cloud Integration Framework (Messaging, Plugins, Batch Processes, REST/SOAP APIs).
- Participate in Guidewire Cloud (SaaS) migration, configuration, and deployment activities.
- Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and architects to translate business requirements into technical designs.
- Perform PCF (Page Configuration File) development and UI customization.
- Configure data model changes, entity extensions, and typelists/typecodes as per business needs.
- Work on Rules Engine, Rating, Underwriting, and Product Designer configurations.
- Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and support SIT/UAT phases.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Ensure adherence to Guidewire best practices, coding standards,



and performance optimization guidelines.
- Support upgrade and migration projects (on-prem to cloud or version upgrades).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 6–8 years of overall IT experience, with a strong focus on Guidewire PolicyCenter development.
- Mandatory: Guidewire ACE Certification in:
- PolicyCenter Configuration
- Cloud/Integration
- Strong hands-on experience in Gosu programming, PCF, and data model configuration.
- Proven expertise in Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP) integration patterns — Messaging, Plugins, Batch, REST/SOAP.
- Experience with Guidewire Studio, Edge APIs, and Cloud API development.
- Solid understanding of P&C; Insurance domain (Personal/Commercial Lines preferred).
- Experience with XML, SQL, Java/J2EE, and web services (REST/SOAP).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git/SVN), and Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work directly with client stakeholders.
- Willingness to work hybrid, minimum 2 days/week onsite at client location.

Valuable to Have

- Exposure to Guidewire Cloud migration projects.
- Knowledge of Kafka, Azure/AWS cloud services.
- Prior experience in Insurance domain projects in the US/UK/Canada markets.
- Additional experience with BillingCenter or ClaimCenter integration.

Education

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Pay: $60.00-$70.00 per hour
