NCC Ltd is looking to hire full time Demolition & Abatement workers (Lead Hands).NCC is an established and growing commercial demolition and hazmat abatement company with job sites throughout Metro Vancouver.

4 Positions Available

Main duties are as follows, but not limited to:

- Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areas
- Erect and dismantle scaffolding & shoring as required.
- Assist tradespersons in construction activities
- Provide support & guidance for abatement labourers and skilled labourers
- Assist in demolishing buildings using hand & power tools
- Setup abatement containments
- Remove asbestos, lead and other hazardous materials
- Sort and pile salvaged & demolished materials
- Wrap & bag abated materials
- Transfer debris & materials to disposal bins at construction sites
- Direct traffic at or near construction sites
- Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed.
- Respect Company tools & equipment
- Maintain proper work attire & PPE
- Represent company favorably while onsite
- Work safely and within abilities




- Read and understand the daily work schedule
- Notify Supervisors of unsafe conditions
- Notify Supervisors of near-miss or injury onsite
- Arrive at site fit for work
- Able to work as part of a team

Mandatory Experience/Education
- Abatement level 2 certification
- Minimum 1 years commercial construction experience
- Verbal, written and reading English required

. Hours of work are 8 hours/day 5 days a week. Occasional afternoon, night and weekend shifts may be required. Pay is $22-28/hour. Only those candidates selected for interviews will be contacted.
