Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a strong understanding of food and beverage operations, and the ability to create a welcoming environment for guests. This role offers an opportunity to work in a lively setting where hospitality and teamwork are valued.

Prior restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems are preferred, but we provide training for the right candidate. The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience.

Duties

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences
- Use POS systems such as Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently
- Engage with guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service and hospitality
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards
- Restock bar supplies as needed, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and available for service
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible alcohol service and ensure compliance with legal requirements




- Assist in food service when necessary, including serving snacks or light menu items
- Follow all food safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff

Skills

- Experience with restaurant or food industry operations is highly desirable
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods efficiently
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and managing tabs accurately
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and assist guests promptly
- Hospitality mindset with a qualified attitude and a welcoming demeanor
