Responsibilities

- Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity
- Support medication administration following prescribed schedules and safety protocols
- Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or disabilities, tailoring approaches to meet their unique needs
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as required, ensuring dietary guidelines are followed
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing routine cleaning and sanitation tasks
- Monitor residents’ health status, report changes promptly to healthcare professionals, and document care activities accurately




- Offer emotional support and companionship to foster a warm, trusting relationship with residents

Skills

- Prior experience working in assisted living facilities or nursing homes is highly valued
- Demonstrated experience in senior care, caregiving, or home care environments
- Knowledge of dementia care techniques and working with individuals with disabilities
- Ability to administer medications safely and follow detailed instructions
- Strong cleaning, meal preparation, and household management skills
- Compassionate communication skills with the ability to connect empathetically with residents of all ages and backgrounds
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and work collaboratively within a team environment
