Full hourly wage of $29.55, following the successful completion of probationary period

You are the beginning of an exceptional food & beverage experience at Fairmont Vancouver Airport. As a Host,



you will make our guests Feel Welcome from the moment they arrive! What you will be doing:

Consistently offer a professional and friendly greeting, and provide engaging service

Assist guests regarding food and beverage menu items in an informative and helpful way

Understand shift end reports in the outlet and POS system

Coordinate and control flow of outlets, seating plans and special events

Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards

Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times

Must possess and maintain a valid Serving it Right! certification

Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities

Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment

Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team

Additional Information

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada with valid work permit or visa. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining work authorization in Canada.
