Otter Trail Winery is seeking a friendly, organized, and hardworking Host/Busser to join our hospitality team. As the first and last point of contact for our guests, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming atmosphere while supporting the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional service.

This position includes regular restaurant service as well as weekend weddings, private events, and winery functions. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and available to work evenings and weekends throughout the season.

Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and provide a positive first impression of the winery.
- Manage reservations, waitlists, and guest seating efficiently.
- Assist with answering guest inquiries in person and over the phone.
- Reset and prepare tables quickly and thoroughly between guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, patio, washrooms, and service areas.
- Assist servers and bartenders with water service, food running, clearing tables, and guest support as needed.
- Support weddings, corporate events, private functions, and winery events, including setup, guest assistance, clearing, and event service support.
- Monitor guest flow and communicate effectively with the front-of-house team.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant, winery, hospitality, customer service,



or event setting is an asset.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Friendly, professional, and positive attitude.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to assist wherever needed.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
- Availability to work weekends is required, as the role includes regular participation in weddings, special events, and private functions throughout the season.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
