Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and highly organized Host/Hostess to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable from the moment they arrive. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will help manage reservations, seat guests efficiently, and coordinate with the restaurant team to deliver exceptional customer service.

Duties

- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, creating a positive first impression
- Manage reservations and waitlists using POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Escort guests to their tables promptly and assist with seating arrangements as needed
- Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing information and taking reservations
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve concerns with hospitality-focused solutions




- Support team members in delivering outstanding guest services throughout their visit

Skills

- Exceptional guest services skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Proven experience in serving or hospitality roles, ideally within a restaurant or food service environment
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening
- Knowledge of food service operations and restaurant procedures
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a rapid-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Previous hotel or restaurant experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential
