Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HSE Supervisor to lead our health, safety, and environmental initiatives at a contstruction/mine site in Northern Saskatchewan. In this vital role, you will oversee compliance with safety regulations, promote a culture of safety awareness, and ensure that all operations adhere to industry standards. Your energetic approach will motivate teams to prioritize safety at every stage of construction, fostering a secure and productive work workplace.

The ideal candidate will possess strong construction experience, enabling seamless integration of safety protocols into daily workflows.

Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive HSE policies tailored to construction and mining activities
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards, ensure proper safety measures are in place, and enforce compliance with safety standards
- Lead safety meetings and training sessions to promote awareness and educate team members on best practices
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses thoroughly; document findings and recommend corrective actions




- Collaborate with project managers and contractors to integrate safety procedures into project planning and execution
- Maintain accurate records of safety audits, inspections, training sessions, and incident reports
- Ensure all personnel are equipped with appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and that safety signage is visible and up-to-date

Experience

- Proven experience in construction supervision or management within the construction and mining industry
- Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations applicable to construction and mining sites
- Hands-on experience conducting site inspections and risk assessments
- Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Ability to lead by example, motivate teams, and foster a culture of continuous safety improvement

Pay: $110,000.00 per year
