We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Coordinator to join our family business.
This Human Resources
Coordinator role provides a vital link between employees and management while supporting the organization’s strategic HR initiatives through efficient system management and effective communication. This role is essential in supporting talent acquisition, employee relations, HR records management, HR policy and various employee engagement and wellness initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, well rounded experience with various HR programs, and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently. Duties
- Assist with talent acquisition processes, including updating job descriptions, recruiting, interviewing, reference checking and onboarding new employees.
- Coordinate the annual performance management system including providing training and coaching on employee development opportunities.
- Maintain HR policy and make recommendation for continuous improvement including online HR Handbook
- Handle employee relations matters with professionalism, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Maintain effective communication with employees and management regarding HR policies, advantages administration, and records management.
- Support compensation research, reviews and records management
- Manage non work related disability claims.
- Support the Health & Safety function through both administrative support and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage and update HR records to ensure accurate employee data collection and maintenance.
- Provide back up support for payroll and benefits processing using XXXX and XXXX systems. Ensuring data accuracy and timely submissions.
- Facilitate change management initiatives by assisting with policy updates and communication strategies across departments.
- Support project management efforts related to HR initiatives, including process improvements and system implementations.
- Conduct data entry and data collection tasks for reporting purposes using various HR tools and platforms.
- Provide administrative support for HR functions such as scheduling interviews, preparing reports, and maintaining documentation.
Education & Experience
- Post secondary Human Resources education – diploma or degree
- CPHR designation or CPHR Candidate preferred
- 3 to 5 years experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, and general HR support
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability in data entry, data collection, data analysis and reporting within HR environments.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems is advantageous.
- Knowledge of payroll systems including XXXX and XXX is desirable.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
Pay: $29.00-$32.00 per hour
