About the Role:

In this role, you will oversee the full spectrum of human resources operations, partnering with leaders across clinical and administrative departments to drive workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, and organizational development. You will lead a dedicated HR team while ensuring compliance with employment legislation and healthcare industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
Human Resources Leadership
Lead the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department while supporting organizational goals and workforce initiatives.
Talent Acquisition and Workforce Planning
Develop recruitment strategies, oversee hiring activities, and collaborate with department leaders to ensure staffing needs are met efficiently.
Employee Relations
Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters, workplace investigations, conflict resolution, policy interpretation, and employee engagement initiatives.
Performance and Organizational Development
Manage performance review programs, leadership development, succession planning, employee recognition, and learning initiatives.
Compensation and Benefits
Oversee compensation administration, employee benefits, leave management, and HR programs to ensure consistency and competitiveness.
Compliance and Policy Administration
Ensure compliance with Ontario employment legislation, workplace health and safety regulations, privacy requirements, and organizational policies.
HR Reporting and Continuous Improvement
Monitor HR metrics, analyze workforce trends, and recommend improvements that strengthen operational effectiveness and employee experience.
What We Are Looking For
Experience
8+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, with 3+ years in a management or leadership role, preferably within healthcare, hospitals, or other complex organizations.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline. A Chartered Professional in Human Resources designation is considered an asset.
Leadership
Demonstrated success leading HR teams, managing multiple priorities, coaching leaders, and building collaborative relationships across diverse departments.
Knowledge
Strong understanding of Ontario employment legislation, recruitment, employee relations, compensation, performance management, occupational health and safety, and HR best practices.
Communication Skills
Excellent interpersonal, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle confidential matters with professionalism and integrity.

Pay: $6,200.00-$7,000.00 per month
