Duties

- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, marinating ingredients, and assembling dishes to support the cooking team
- Support cooking processes by maintaining cleanliness and organization of cooking stations and utensils
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures, including storage, sanitation, and hygiene standards
- Serve dishes efficiently to customers or assist in plating and presentation to ensure a positive dining experience
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by cleaning work surfaces, equipment, and utensils regularly
- Support meal preparation during busy hours to help meet service timelines without compromising quality




- Follow all food safety regulations and restaurant policies to uphold high standards of hygiene and safety

Experience

- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is highly valued
- Familiarity with food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety practices is advantageous
- Experience in the food industry or with Asian cuisine can be beneficial but is not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Basic understanding of serving procedures and customer service skills will help in delivering excellent guest experiences
- Previous roles involving food handling or meal preparation will support your success in this position
