Qualifications Post Basic ECE

Additional Qualifications Strong interpersonal skills

Experience leading a successful team

Organized, positive and energetic

Valid Childcare First-Aid/CPR certificate

Criminal Record Clearance, childcare specific An Early Childhood Educator license to practice from the ECEBC Registry

Knowledge of Vancouver Coastal Health’s Licensing Regulations Act

Understanding of the BC Code of Ethics

Three references, one personal, two work related

Proof of immunizations or an objection letter

Years Experience Required 1

Required Experience Guidance and caring 1 year





Salary & Benefits Kuddles believes in compensating their employees fairly based on performance, experience and seniority.

More Details Shifts are fixed between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:30 pm.

Shifts able to be adjusted for appointments when necessary.

Full-time position: 37 - 40 hours per week including a 30 minute break.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $22.00 up to $25 per hour + $6 Wage enhancement (IT and ECE only) Extended Medical and Advantages Plan available after probation.

Additional Information Set out provocations to encourage purposeful play

Encourage self-help skills as well as facilitate problem solving techniques and respectful mannerisms

Observe and bring to the attention of the manager any developmental concerns among children in their class to provide early intervention techniques and strategies

Have knowledge of licensing regulations and implementation

Fluent in English

Be flexible in job duties

Display enthusiasm to teach children

Seek partnership with parents, as well as team members

Plan and implement programming that reflects and is not limited to all aspects of learning including circle time, math, socials, science, fine and gross motor skills, music and movement and language development
