IT Security Consultant (Remote, Canada-wide)

We’re hiring two experienced IT Security Consultants to support strategic cybersecurity initiatives within a dynamic and forward-thinking security team.

Location: Remote (Anywhere in Canada)

Start Date: October 2025 / ASAP

About the Role

This role supports the rollout of a new security assessment methodology and contributes to broader strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing organizational security practices. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders, conduct security reviews, and help implement cutting-edge solutions that improve security posture and operational efficiency.

What You’ll Do

- Lead and support the implementation of strategic security initiatives
- Conduct security assessments of enterprise-level projects
- Develop scripts and software to support security processes
- Present findings and recommendations to leadership
- Promote a strong security culture across the organization

What You Bring

- 8+ years in enterprise security, with 4+ years in DevOps, R&D;, or architecture roles




- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO, OWASP)
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), AI, and 5G
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Nice-to-Haves

- Experience with process automation and improvement
- Exposure to AI or AI-assisted solutions
- Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA)
