INTERMEDIATE LAWYER

Pay: CA$125,000.00 - CA$150,000.00 per year

Position Summary:

· Meet with clients, investigate claims, gather evidence, and formulate legal theories

· Draft pleadings and motions, actively participate in questioning and mediation processes

· Interview and depose witnesses

· Prepare for trial and advocate at trial

· Complete legal forms, prepare summaries, memos, and applications

· Attend questionings, applications, mediations, and JDRs

Who you are:

· You are a 3-5-year bar call lawyer with experience in the area of civil litigation (plaintiff or defense)





· Called to the Bar and licensed to practice law in Alberta

· License in good standing with the Law Society of Alberta

· You have proven analytical skills utilizing your knowledge of the law for sound decision-making

We are looking for you to bring the following skills to the team:

· Excellent drafting and writing skills, ability to write about complex legal issues clearly and concise

· Strong business acumen with problem-solving, planning, and organizing skills

· Team player who is able to work effectively under pressure
