Intermediate Revit Technician/Designer - 3-Month Contract

We are an award-winning hospitality interior design firm located in Vancouver’s Broadway/Kitsilano area. We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Revit Technician/Designer for a 3-month contract with the potential for an extension. The successful candidate will work with our interior design team to produce detailed design and construction documentation for hospitality and senior-living projects.

Mandatory Requirements

- Minimum 4 years of qualified Revit experience in an architectural or interior design firm, and familiar with BIM Collaborate.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with a Canadian architectural or design firm, including senior-living projects.
- Advanced experience producing detailed construction-document packages in Revit.

Please Note: Applicants without both strong Revit experience and senior-living or hotel project experience will not be considered. Selected candidates will complete a 2-hour Revit proficiency assessment as part of the interview process.

Key Responsibilities

- Produce design, permit and construction documents for hospitality and senior-living projects.
- Develop and maintain accurate Revit models and drawing packages.
- Prepare plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations, sections, details and schedules.
- Create and modify Revit families.
- Coordinate drawings with consultants, contractors, clients and internal project teams.
- Review documents for accuracy, completeness, constructability and code compliance.




- Resolve technical and drawing-coordination issues.
- Participate in project meetings.
- Provide Revit guidance and technical support to team members.
- Manage assigned work and meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

- Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology, Interior Design Technology or a related discipline.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit, including modelling, BIM coordination, drawing development, schedules, detailing and family creation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam and Microsoft 365.
- Strong knowledge of the British Columbia Building Code and National Building Code of Canada.
- Strong understanding of interior-design documentation, detailing and construction methods.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
- Autodesk certification is an asset.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada with
