Term: 5-Month Contract + Strong Extension Potential

Hours: 37.5 Hours/Week

Clearance: Must be Enhanced Reliability Cleared or Clearable (Canadian Citizen or Canadian Permanent Resident)

Overview Seeking an Intermediate QA Tester with strong experience in manual and automated software testing , API validation, and Agile delivery environments. The successful candidate will participate throughout the testing lifecycle, ensuring high-quality software releases through functional, regression, integration, UI, and end-to-end testing while collaborating closely with development and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Review business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Perform manual testing of recent features and enhancements
- Execute regression, integration, end-to-end, functional, and UI testing
- Validate REST and SOAP APIs
- Verify defect fixes and perform re-testing
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects
- Record detailed reproduction steps with supporting evidence (screenshots, logs, videos)
- Collaborate closely with developers to investigate and resolve issues
- Create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts
- Improve automation coverage and reduce manual testing effort




- Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups
- Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Managers, and stakeholders
- Maintain test documentation, execution results, and testing best practices
- Provide quality feedback and release readiness recommendations

Required Qualifications

- 3–5 years of QA testing experience
- Strong experience testing REST and SOAP APIs/Web Services
- Experience with both manual and automated testing
- Strong automation experience using Robot Framework (or similar automation frameworks)
