A large meat/seafood distribution company is looking for a Full-Time Inventory Control Coordinator. This individual will have responsibilities including, organizing the meat cooler/stocking and rotating stock, cycle counting, transferring products to the freezer, and filling orders.

Position: Full Time, Permanent

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm

Duties & Responsibilities

- Oversee and plan every activity that relates to inventory control in the organization or warehouse environment
- Ensure all items in the warehouse are accurate, audited, received and stored.
- Ensure inventory will meet customer demands efficiently.
- Advise on stock inflow and outflow
- Compile inventory information and present it to Management for effective decision making, which may include the need for restocking.
- Provide accurate information on inventory to customers to guide them on order availability.
- Investigate inaccuracies in the inventory system and execute necessary improvements towards better business performance focusing on customer satisfaction.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements




- Experience in a warehouse environment with inventory control experience.
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to perform fundamental mathematical functions.
- Knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing, presentation, email and internet software applications.
- Solid English verbal and written communication skills
- Must have the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and be able to work independently or within a team environment.
