Investment Operations Analyst

Duration: 6 months (extension and conversion possible)

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 4 days/week)

Overview

Our client is seeking an Investment Operations Analyst to support daily investment and mutual fund operations within a collaborative financial services environment. This role focuses on trade processing, settlements, transaction investigations, and operational support while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

- Process investment and mutual fund trades and settlements.
- Investigate and resolve trade breaks, discrepancies, and operational issues.
- Process FundSERV transactions and support money movement activities.
- Utilize advanced Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and macros, to support operational processes.
- Respond to internal inquiries and provide operational support.
- Ensure compliance with operational procedures, regulatory requirements,



and internal controls.

Required Skills & Experience
- Experience in investment operations, mutual fund operations, trade operations, or financial services.
- Robust understanding of trade processing and settlement activities.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and macros.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and technologies.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Nice to Have
- Experience with FundSERV.
- Capital Markets or Wealth Management operations experience.
- Previous trade settlement experience.
