iOS Developer

We are seeking an experienced iOS Developer to join a collaborative development team in Toronto, Ontario . In this role, you will design and build secure, high-performance mobile SDKs and applications that support authentication and user access across multiple iOS products.

Working alongside cross-functional teams, you will contribute throughout the entire software development lifecycle, helping deliver scalable, reusable solutions while ensuring exceptional performance, reliability, and user experience.

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, document, and maintain native iOS SDK components and reusable frameworks.
- Build clean, scalable, and modular architectures that simplify integration for client application teams.
- Develop secure authentication features and integrate RESTful APIs while following industry best practices for security and performance.
- Implement logging, analytics, metrics, and tracing capabilities to improve application monitoring and observability.
- Optimize application startup time, memory usage, network performance, and overall responsiveness through profiling and performance tuning.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural planning to maintain high standards of code quality and scalability.
- Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, security specialists, and Android/mobile developers to deliver end-to-end mobile solutions.
- Take ownership of features from design through deployment, monitor production performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement continuous improvements.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive unit, integration, and UI tests to ensure application stability and reliability.
- Mentor junior developers by promoting best practices in iOS development, reusable framework design,



and software engineering principles.

Requirements:

- Proven experience developing native iOS applications, SDKs, or reusable mobile frameworks.
- Strong understanding of API design, versioning, backward compatibility, and SDK lifecycle management.
- Advanced proficiency in Swift and modern iOS development practices; experience with Objective-C is considered an asset.
- Experience with modern architectural patterns such as MVVM , Clean Architecture , and modular application design.
- Hands-on experience implementing analytics, logging, and monitoring solutions using tools such as Firebase Crashlytics , Firebase Performance Monitoring , OpenTelemetry , or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with production monitoring tools such as Datadog , Splunk , Grafana , or equivalent observability solutions.
- Experience using Xcode Instruments to diagnose and resolve memory leaks, threading issues, concurrency challenges, and performance bottlenecks.
- Ability to create explicit technical documentation, integration guides, and sample applications to support SDK adoption.
- Strong understanding of secure mobile development, including authentication workflows, token management, encryption, and Keychain services.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Fastlane , GitHub Actions , Jenkins , Bitrise , or Azure DevOps , along with automated testing frameworks ( XCTest , XCUITest ), dependency management tools ( Swift Package Manager , CocoaPods ), networking libraries ( URLSession , Alamofire ), local persistence technologies ( Core Data , Realm ), and SwiftUI is highly preferred.
