About the Role

We are looking for a talented and motivated Python/Java Full Stack Developer to join our growing engineering team in Toronto. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing scalable web applications using Python or Java on the backend and modern JavaScript frameworks on the frontend. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack web applications using Python or Java technologies.
- Build scalable RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Develop responsive and user-friendly front-end applications using React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development standards.
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
- Integrate applications with databases, third-party APIs, and cloud services.
- Work within Agile/Scrum teams and participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for seamless deployments.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 years of professional experience in full-stack software development.
- Strong programming skills in Python (Django/FastAPI/Flask) and/or Java (Spring Boot).
- Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.




- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB is an asset.
- Experience using Git and collaborative version control workflows.
- Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Experience working with microservices architecture.
- Understanding of application security best practices and OAuth/JWT authentication.
- Exposure to automated testing frameworks and test-driven development (TDD).
