Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman/Woman Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various industrial and commercial settings. Your expertise will ensure that electrical infrastructure operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant codes and standards.

Duties

- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to guide electrical installations and repairs.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems including low voltage wiring, power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete wiring tasks, conduit runs, and equipment setups.
- Conduct inspections of electrical systems to identify issues and perform repairs or upgrades as needed.
- Work on renovation projects by updating existing electrical infrastructure while adhering to safety standards.
- Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in industrial automation processes.




- Collaborate with construction teams to ensure electrical work integrates seamlessly with building structures and other trades.

Experience

- Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial environments with a strong understanding of electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to read complex schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings accurately.
- Hands-on experience working with low voltage systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and schematics.
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and specialized electrical equipment in construction or renovation projects.
- Prior experience in industrial electrician roles or related fields such as renovation or handyman work is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of electrical troubleshooting techniques for both routine maintenance and emergency repairs.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining high safety standards.
