We are currently seeking one Journeyperson Automotive/Heavy Equipment Technician that is well-organized, reliable individual to join the maintenance department out of our Grande Prairie/ Clairmont division.
Offer
· Journeyperson (40 - 52) per/hour
· Signing bonus for Journeyperson ($2,000 after 30 Days of employment & $3,000 after 1 year anniversary)

· Monday to Friday work week, eight hour days.

This position will have minimal field work, but consists of being on-call alternating weeks with team members.
Heavy Duty/Automotive Technician
Credentials
· Heavy Duty technician Certificate accompanied with a red seal designation
· Automotive technician Certificate accompanied with a red seal designation
· Commercial Vehicle Inspection license
· A valid Class 1 or 3 Drivers license would be an asset
· Welding knowledge would be an asset
· Field experience would be an asset
Job Overview:
The qualified Technician will be a member of the maintenance department team responsible for the daily repairs/preventative maintenance of company assets, to work alongside with coordinators and 3rd party vendors.
· Diagnose/troubleshoot & complete repairs on all company equipment which includes, diesel/gas powered automobiles, heavy trucks, oilfield well servicing equipment, cranes, loaders, forklifts, and trailers.
· Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, lubricate and perform other maintenance work, verify and repair emission control systems.
