As a Florist, you will be responsible for creating beautiful floral arrangements, assisting customers with their selections, and maintaining the overall appearance of the shop. Responsibilities
- Design and create floral arrangements for various occasions including weddings, events, and everyday sales.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers in selecting flowers and arrangements that meet their needs.
- Maintain inventory of flowers and supplies; ensure freshness and quality of products.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems for transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
- Engage in merchandising activities to enhance product displays and promote sales.
- Assist with landscape maintenance as needed, ensuring plants are healthy and well-cared for.
- Manage e-commerce orders,
ensuring timely fulfillment and delivery of online purchases.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers to foster a positive shopping experience.
Requirements
- Proven experience in floral design or related fields such as horticulture or gardening is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with diverse clientele; multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Familiarity with retail sales practices, including cash handling and POS systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English; additional languages are advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and maintain shop cleanliness effectively.
