Role: Kafka Admin

Location: Canada - Remote

Responsibilities:

- Design and implement scalable and reliable Kafka-based solutions to meet business requirements.
- Oversee the integration of Kafka Schema Registry and Kafka Connect to ensure seamless data flow.
- Provide expertise in ANSI SQL to optimize database queries and enhance performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect solutions on Azure that align with company goals.
- Administer and manage Kafka environments, ensuring high availability and security. - Utilize Confluent Kafka to enhance data streaming capabilities and improve system efficiency.
- Implement AMS for Apache Kafka to monitor and maintain system health.
- Develop strategies for applying cash to invoices, leveraging domain expertise to streamline processes.
- Ensure that all solutions adhere to best practices and industry standards.
- Conduct regular system audits to identify and resolve potential issues proactively. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members,



fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Contribute to the company’s purpose by delivering solutions that enhance data-driven decision-making.

Required Skills:

- Possess robust technical skills in Kafka Schema Registry, Kafka Connect, and Kafka Admin.
- Demonstrate proficiency in ANSI SQL and Azure for effective solution design. - Experience with Confluent Kafka and AMS for Apache Kafka is essential.
- Domain expertise in applying cash to invoices is a plus. - Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model with a focus on day shifts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
