Performs dishwashing, pot and pan cleaning, and housekeeping duties.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Washes, dries and stores dishes, utensils, pots, pans and other kitchen equipment.
- Cleans dishwasher machine, garbareter and conveyor equipment.
- Performs housekeeping duties such as cleaning countertops, sinks, dusting, spot washing walls and splash areas.
- Performs other duties related to the function of the Kitchen Aide as required.
REPORTS TO Manager of Operations, FACT and Culinary Chair
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
- Grade 10 or equivalent
EXPERIENCE
- Three months' related experience
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE OR ABILITIES RELATED TO THE JOB
- Ability to operate related equipment such as a dishwasher machine
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Kitchen setting: standing for long periods of time, operating commercial dishwasher, water and steam, some exposure to cleansing agents
