Duties

- Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, sinks, and storage areas to ensure a safe working environment
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks under supervision, such as peeling or chopping ingredients when needed
- Support the kitchen team by organizing supplies and ensuring all items are stored correctly
- Dispose of waste responsibly and manage recycling procedures in accordance with health regulations
- Follow food handling and safety procedures diligently to prevent contamination or spoilage




- Help with setting up dining areas or assisting servers during busy service periods when required

Experience

- Previous experience working in a restaurant, café, hotel, or similar food service environment is preferred but not essential
- Familiarity with cleaning routines within a commercial kitchen setting is advantageous
- Basic understanding of food handling practices and hygiene standards
- Experience with food preparation or cooking tasks is a plus but not mandatory
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced environment
- Excellent teamwork skills and positive attitude towards supporting colleagues in busy periods
