Come join our small team! You will assist in food handling, meal preparation, dishes, and ensuring smooth food service operations. At this time we have shifts available from Tue-Thursday, and the occasional Saturday, from 7am-3pm. Our menu is mostly sandwiches and breakfast items.
Duties
- Assist with food prep
- Cook and assemble meals according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all kitchen activities
- Support food handling procedures to ensure proper storage, cleanliness, and sanitation of ingredients and equipment
- Serve dishes efficiently to ensure timely delivery to customers while maintaining quality standards
- Help with cleaning duties such as washing dishes, sanitizing workstations, and organizing kitchen tools and supplies
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless food service operations during peak hours
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is necessary
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly processes
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling practices in the food industry
- Solid understanding of serving procedures and customer service principles
- Ability to follow instructions precisely while maintaining attention to detail in food presentation and hygiene standards
Pay: $17.00 per hour
