We are seeking a motivated and energetic Kitchen Helper/Cook to join our agile south indian food service team. In this vital role, you will assist with food preparation, cooking, and food handling to ensure a smooth and efficient kitchen operation. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will contribute to delivering high-quality meals and excellent service for our guests.

Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, peeling, measuring ingredients, and assembling dishes according to recipes and standards
- Support cooking activities by following established procedures and maintaining proper food handling practices
- Ensure all food is prepared safely, adhering to food safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Serve meals efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional attitude towards guests
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts
- Help with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying supervisors of stock levels
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure a safe working environment
- Flexible to lend hands to any other departments if required.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments especially in South Indian cuisines; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques, meal assembly, and basic cooking skills is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures is highly desirable
- Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen or food industry setting will help you excel in this role
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately are essential for success
