We are hiring a reliable and efficient Meat Cutting & Skewer Prep Worker to prepare meat and vegetable skewers for daily restaurant operations.

The main responsibilities include cutting and portioning ingredients, lightly marinating prepared ingredients, and assembling meat and vegetables onto skewers according to restaurant standards.

Responsibilities

- Cut and portion beef, lamb, other meats, and vegetables
- Lightly marinate prepared ingredients according to restaurant recipes
- Assemble marinated meat and vegetables onto skewers
- Maintain consistent portion sizes and product quality
- Handle ingredients carefully and minimize unnecessary food waste
- Follow all food-safety, sanitation, and safe-handling procedures
- Keep the workstation, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and ready for use
- Store and label prepared ingredients properly
- Complete daily production quantities accurately and efficiently

Compensation This is a piece-rate position.

- Cutting pay is calculated based on the total weight of meat prepared
- Skewering pay is calculated based on the number of completed skewers




- Based on previous employees’ earnings, average daily income is approximately $120–$160, depending on work speed, accuracy, product quality, and daily production volume

Schedule
- Tuesday to Sunday
- 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- One staff meal is provided during each shift

Requirements
- Comfortable handling and cutting raw meat
- Able to perform repetitive cutting and skewering tasks
- Good knife skills, hand speed, accuracy, and portion control
- Strong awareness of food cost and ingredient waste
- Able to follow recipes, portioning standards, and food-safety procedures
- Clean, organized, responsible, and attentive to detail
- Able to maintain consistent quality while working efficiently
- Able to stand for extended periods
- Reliable and able to meet daily production targets
- Previous kitchen, meat-cutting, or food-preparation experience is preferred

Job Types: Full time, Permanent Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour
