Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Kitchen Helper to join our team. This role is essential in supporting the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring a clean, organized, and efficient environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, hospitality, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety. Previous experience in restaurants, hotels, or food handling is a plus but not required; a robust work ethic and willingness to learn are essential.

Responsibilities

- Assist with food preparation and basic cooking tasks under the supervision of chefs or kitchen staff
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, cleaning countertops, and sanitizing surfaces
- Support food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met
- Help with organizing supplies, ingredients, and kitchen equipment for efficient workflow
- Assist in serving food to guests or customers as needed
- Ensure proper food storage and waste disposal according to health regulations




- Support team members in maintaining a welcoming and hospitable environment

Qualifications

- Prior experience in restaurant, hotel, or food service environments is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Willingness to learn new skills related to kitchen operations and food preparation
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or moving supplies
