In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing laundry operations, maintaining pristine linens and towels, and supporting overall cleanliness within the hotel environment. Duties

- Operate laundry machines and equipment to wash, dry, fold, and iron linens, towels, and guest clothing with precision and care

- Sort laundry items and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results

- Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area, including organizing supplies and ensuring safety protocols are followed

- Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies such as detergents, fabric softeners, and cleaning agents, reordering as needed

- Assist with general cleaning tasks around the hotel to support overall hygiene standards





- Follow all safety procedures related to handling chemicals and operating machinery to prevent accidents

- Report equipment malfunctions to maintenance staff promptly

- Collaborate with housekeeping staff to deliver fresh linens promptly and efficiently meet guest needs

Qualifications

- Previous hotel experience or background in laundry services is highly preferred

- Strong knowledge of laundry processes, including washing, drying, folding, and stain removal techniques

- Experience with cleaning tasks and maintaining hygienic work environments

- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and enthusiasm

- Attention to detail to ensure linens are spotless, well-folded, and organized

- Good communication skills to work effectively within a team environment

- Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing excellent service in a fast-paced setting

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
