Overview

This is not a fill-in job. We are hiring someone we want to grow with us.

You will spend this season learning the trade properly on our crews: base prep, interlock, natural stone, walls, steps, planting, and equipment. If you take it seriously and prove yourself, the plan is for you to step into a crew lead role next spring, running your own jobs and your own team.

We work on residential and condo properties across Hamilton, Stoney Creek, Ancaster, Dundas, and Burlington. Small crews, high standards, and you will see the finished result of everything you build.

THIS SEASON YOU WILL LEARN

- Base prep, grading, and compaction for patios, walkways, and driveways
- Interlock, natural stone, and slab installation
- Retaining wall and step construction
- Planting, soil, mulch, and sod
- Equipment operation including mini skid steer, plate compactor, and saws
- How a job actually gets sequenced from dig to final sweep

NEXT SPRING, IF IT IS THE RIGHT FIT
- Running your own crew and job sites
- Reading layouts, managing materials, and setting the daily pace
- A pay increase and bonuses to match the added responsibility

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Reliable and on time, every single day. This is the whole thing.
- Someone who wants a trade, not a summer job




- Comfortable with physical outdoor work in all weather
- Valid G or G2 licence and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly
- Experience helps but is not required. We would rather teach someone good than fix someone's bad habits.
- Bonus: equipment tickets, truck and trailer experience, or any construction background

WHAT WE OFFER
- $22-24 per hour to start, a performance bonus, with a review and increase heading into next season
