Responsibilities

- Perform landscape installation and renovation projects using hand tools and power tools to shape gardens, lawns, and outdoor features
- Maintain existing landscapes by mowing, pruning, fertilizing, aerating, and watering to ensure healthy growth and aesthetic appeal
- Operate construction equipment such as excavators for site preparation and major landscaping tasks
- Install and repair irrigation systems to ensure effective watering of plants and turf areas
- Conduct regular landscape inspections to identify issues and perform necessary repairs or adjustments
- Assist with horticultural practices including planting, mulching, soil conditioning, and pest management




- Support landscape construction projects by preparing sites, laying pathways, installing features, and ensuring safety standards are met

Experience

- Prior experience in landscaping, gardening, or horticulture is highly preferred
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques and plant care best practices
- Mechanical knowledge related to operating machinery like excavators and power tools
- Familiarity with irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting
- Construction experience involving site preparation, grading, or hardscape installation is a plus
- Ability to use hand tools such as shovels, pruners, rakes, as well as power tools including trimmers and saws
- Strong understanding of horticultural principles and landscape design fundamentals
