Purpose
Take full linen racks to linen rooms on guest floors and bring empty racks to the Laundry Department Principal Responsibilities Follow proper procedures when entering guest rooms.
Take full rack to linen rooms on each floor of the Hotel.
Bring empty linen racks to the Housekeeping Department.
Replenish linen to ensure Room Attendants can complete their room assignments.
Report any lost and found items to Manager on duty.
Adhere to and comply with all safety regulations when handling hazardous materials according to the MDS.
Secure effective use of equipment.
Use only chemicals and safety equipment provided by the Hotel.
Comply with all Hotel policies and procedures.
Perform other tasks as assigned by Management.

Satisfaction Should always conduct him/herself with a pleasant and helpful attitude towards guest, co-workers and managers.
Process
Improvement/ Productivity Only in the absence of Housekeeping Midnight Runner will the Laundry Runner respond to guest calls and deliver items to rooms such as hair dryer and cots.
Performs Housekeeping duties as required to balance the workload of the Department or to meet deadlines.
Report deficiencies or broken equipment to Laundry/Housekeeping Management Academic and Working Qualifications Working Experience Previous experience working in a laundry facility is an asset. Soft Skills Strong work ethic.
Able to work effectively in a team environment.
Good communication skills. Language Must be able to speak and understand English.
Physical Requirements Flexible in availability.
Able to stand for long periods of time.
Able to lift, bend and walk distances.
Able to lift weights of up to 40 lbs/20kgs.
