CleanStart is a locally owned and award-winning social enterprise based out of the Downtown Eastside neighbourhood in Vancouver. We provide professional property services including junk removal, a wide range of cleaning, pest control, and moving services. We specialize in providing a supportive work environment for those with barriers to employment and we value and support our staff to help them thrive in a diverse and inclusive workplace.

We are looking for a motivated and energetic Lead Dispatcher with a strong work ethic to join our team. A successful applicant will have experience working in a fast-paced office environment, great communication skills, creative problem solving skills, and enjoy working as part of a team.

As part of a small office team, you will work closely with our Operations Manager and senior management in all aspects of your role. You will also be largely responsible for a number of key operating aspects of CleanStart, which provides you the opportunity to take control of this position and run with it.

Job Duties:

- Primary point of contact for all customers and field staff
- Answer phone calls for service booking,



inquiries, and job management
- Handle email communication with customers
- Monitor and support all service routes
- Prepare and send estimates to customers
- Prepare and send invoicing via our internal system
- Processing payments online via Stripe

Qualifications:

- Exceptional customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills and confidence speaking on the phone in English
- Invoice processing experience preferred
- Administrative experience preferred
- Sales experience preferred
- Comfortable using smartphone and computer
- Working knowledge of Google Workspace
- Ability to stay calm and problem solve under pressure
- Ability to multitask and prioritize

Job Details:

- Regular schedule is Monday to Friday
- Occasional availability expected on Saturdays and holidays to support work crews
- Daily hours are 8:00am-4:30pm
- Two weeks of vacation
- Paid personal days

Job Types: Full time, Permanent Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
