Snow Angus is one of Simcoe County's leading property maintenance companies, providing professional lawn care in the summer and reliable snow removal in the winter. We're growing and are looking for a motivated, experienced Lead Hand to join our team year-round.

Position Overview

This is a full time, year-round position for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in quality work, and has experience leading a crew. During the summer, you'll be responsible for operating and managing a lawn maintenance crew, servicing both residential and commercial properties. In the winter, you'll transition into snow operations, operating a snow plow truck and helping keep our customers' properties safe and accessible.

Responsibilities

Summer (Property Maintenance)

- Lead a lawn maintenance crew on daily routes.
- Operate commercial zero-turn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscape equipment.
- Maintain high-quality standards on residential and commercial properties.
- Train and mentor crew members.
- Complete daily paperwork and communicate with management.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and maintenance.

Winter (Snow Removal)

- Operate a snow plow truck during snow events.
- Clear residential and commercial properties safely and efficiently.
- Work overnight, early morning, weekends,



and holidays as required during snow events.
- Assist with snow blowing, salting, and other winter maintenance operations when needed.

Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial lawn maintenance experience.
- Experience leading or supervising a lawn care crew.
- Experience operating commercial lawn equipment.
- Previous experience operating a snow plow truck is required.
- Valid G Driver's Licence (clean abstract preferred).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
