No orthodontic experience is required. We provide training on site.

Kirk Orthodontics is a family owned practice in Arnprior, led by a husband and wife orthodontist team, and we are hiring a Level II Dental Assistant to join our team.

What this role is

This position centres on sterilization, infection control and lab work, along with keeping the clinic running smoothly through the day. It is not a traditional DA chairside assisting role.

You will be one of the first people our patients see. You will welcome families into the clinic, come to know them by name, and follow young patients across their treatment. In a practice of our size, no one is tucked away in a back room, and we are a well-integrated team.

Day to day, you will help manage instrument reprocessing and maintain our sterilization standards, complete lab work including appliances, retainers and 3D printing, and prepare and turn over chairs. You will also step in wherever the day calls for it, which most people find is the most enjoyable part of the role.

This is an active position. You will be on your feet and moving throughout the practice, and you will have a hand in very nearly every visit that comes through our doors.

What we are looking for A Level II Dental Assistant certificate in good standing, NDAEB certification, and HARP certification.

Orthodontic experience is neither required nor expected.
