We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, with strong experience in both custom residential and commercial service environments. We are a small company specializing in high-end custom homes working with expensive and delicate fixtures, architectural lighting and LED lighting.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with relevant codes and standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
- Work on low voltage lighting as well as home lighting automation controllers.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on renovation projects to ensure seamless integration of electrical work.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they become problems.
- Maintain a clean and safe work setting at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrician,
preferably in residential settings or construction projects.
- Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation related to electrical work.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and safety protocols associated with electrical installations.
- Knowledge of low voltage lighting and home automation is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
- Maintenance Person experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Must possess a valid electrician's license and reliable vehicle
