Welcome to Emporia! We are newly rebranded neighborhood pub with a strong feel for community. We actively work with as many local suppliers as possible and truly embrace a farm to table mentality. We try as hard as we can to showcase local produce in what we like to term as "elevated pub food".

We are a scratch kitchen where we make everything in-house from our brioche buns to ketchup. We're seeking a passionate part time (with the opportunity to move to full time) line cook. Ideal shifts would be Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday swing shifts.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours.

Qualifications





- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service workplace preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation, and meal presentation.
- Familiarity with food handling regulations and safety standards.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- A passion for the culinary arts and commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
