Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic line cook/ prep cook/ dishwasher to join our dynamic kitchen team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service by preparing meals and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, a commitment to food safety, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and assembling ingredients.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all food handling processes.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas to ensure a safe cooking environment.
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen items efficiently while adhering to cleanliness protocols.




- Support the kitchen team by helping with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during busy periods.

Experience

- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential.
- Familiarity with meal preparation methods and kitchen equipment is advantageous.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a busy kitchen setting.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills in the culinary field are highly valued.
