We are looking to accelerate delivery timelines for software updates across our range of tooling used to manage Kerberos authentication and related activities at Morgan Stanley
· Ideal: Highly experienced UNIX/Linux systems/security engineer proficient in C systems and network programming and systems integration in an enterprise environment
· Must have :
o Good knowledge of UNIX/Linux operating environments o Proficiency with UNIX/Linux systems and network programming in C o Experience with Perl programming o Awareness of security concepts and defensive programming o Familiarity with Kerberos o Ability to work to delivery deadlines
· Very nice to have o Experience of contributing to open source projects o Familiarity with Python o Excellent written and verbal communications skills
· Nice to have :
o Experience with deployment automation pipelines (Jenkins)
o Kerberos development experience o Comfort working in an agile development setting
· What we are not seeking:
o Pure developers unfamiliar with deployment and problem resolution challenges o Embedded C developers o High level language developers unfamiliar with direct use of the UNIX/Linux C system interface
