Overview

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Class 1 Driver to operate a 53' dry van for local LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) deliveries throughout the Edmonton area.

This is 100% local work—you'll be home every night. The position involves multiple pickups and deliveries each day at commercial and industrial locations, so applicants must be confident maneuvering a 53' trailer in city traffic, tight loading docks, and busy customer sites.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate a 53' dry van for local LTL pickups and deliveries.
- Complete multiple deliveries and pickups throughout the day while maintaining an productive schedule.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any mechanical issues.
- Secure freight and ensure all loads are transported safely.
- Use our mobile dispatch application to receive work assignments and update delivery status.




- Complete required paperwork accurately and communicate professionally with dispatch and customers.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company procedures.

Requirements
- Valid Class 1 Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.
- Valid Dangerous Goods (TDG) certification.
- Previous experience operating a 53' dry van trailer.
- Experience with LTL freight and multi-stop city deliveries is required.
- Strong backing and trailer maneuvering skills in tight urban environments.
- Good knowledge of the Edmonton area and efficient route planning.
- Professional attitude, strong communication skills, and a commitment to safety and punctuality.
