A leader in Retail Security, Stratus Security is currently seeking experienced Loss Prevention Professionals or licensed and experienced Security Professionals who are interested in making a transition to Loss Prevention.
Stratus Security has expanded into new markets with high profile clients and as result is seeking professionals who are interested in joining our Team.
You will be responsible for implementing procedures and systems to prevent merchandise loss.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and patrol premises to detect and locate suspected shoplifters
- Safely recover assets and make apprehensions/arrests.
- Investigate and resolve various fraud and theft cases
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in surveillance, loss prevention, or other related fields
- Familiarity with retail security
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Report writing.
BC Basic Security License Accessibility to vehicle is asset
Schedule: 40 Hours a week. Hours will be shuffled between two site, one in Parksville and other in Courtney.
Pay: From $21.00 per hour
